Historic Rock Hill has a variety of tours available to school groups of all ages. Tours can be customized for different age groups and a variety of learning levels while meeting social studies standards. For more information, please email our Program Director Lindsay Stuber.


Tours of the White Home

Tour the historic White Home and learn about the architecture of the house as well as how Rock Hill grew from a small town into a thriving city. Highlights include the economic effects of the South Carolina Rail Road, the aftermath of the Civil War on the White family, & the importance of the Civil Rights Movement in Rock Hill. Historic Preservation

Students and adults can learn about architecture and the imoirtance of hisrtoric preservation, inclding the National Register of Historic Places and the National Historic Preservation Act as well as hands on preservation clinics.
